Commissioned by the San Francisco Art Commission in 2010, this mosaic mural is made up of thousands of individually cut and placed tiles. The imagery of the mural represents several unique aspects of the Portola neighborhood; the gentle wind that is constantly blows throughout the area, the windmills that once stood throughout the neighborhood and the greenhouses that once supplied all the cut flowers to the City of San Francisco.
